Always being referred to as the ultimate ‘neat freak’, or ‘the Monica’ from the famous TV show F.R.I.E.N.D.S; my friend remained speechless when she entered my room today.
Regaining composure she mouthed, “What have you become?”
That’s when realisation struck me, that is when I gathered that the past few days had been really trying and I had been all messed up.
I simply laughed in response, grabbed my purse and lead her out to the main door.
Peeking a look behind, I made sure, that today, I will clean that unwanted disarray. Today, when I return home, the bed will be made, the books will be stacked exactly how they should be, and the study table will have no sheets simply lying around under the fake paper weights as mobile chargers, pen drives, so much so as even my phone back cover. The most important task, even the laundry will be done, there can be no extra clothes just hanging around in my room.
I will be back to my being normal today, though for my friend, I will always be the ‘abnormal neat freak’.
Yes! My dear brother has crossed the line from meticulous to anal, where I prefer organized chaos

Hahaha, Thanks aditi.
But to be clear, I don’t ‘love’ cleaning, I just like keeping things where they should be so that I can find them easily. My friends just like pulling my leg on this obsession of keeping things clean 🙂

Being a neat freak I’m sure it wouldn’t be a chore that will take too much of your time!😊

Oh sure, It didn’t take much of time and also I have the weekend to myself. So I guess it’s a win-win situation for me 🙂

I was wondering that myself, I think there is nothing like being normal, or anything that makes complete sense.

hahaha… my room is always in disarray…I hate cleaning up. And my friends called me Rachel though I hated being compared to her. 😦

But I don’t think being compared to Rachel is that bad. After all you get to be in style always, and you have your Ross all along. :p

Oh I wish I was as hot as Rachel… I am not even 1/100000 of her in terms of beauty. My friend just used to tease me for my love life..hehe.. I used to be “on a break” a number of times… 😛

hahahaha, I really had a laugh over that ‘on a break’ thing.
That’s an ultimate dilemma.
But I think you are beautiful and hot! You just have to look at yourself and not at Rachel.

I always feel better when everything is in order. When my kids came it felt like they turned my world upside down. It’s my coping mechanism.

Haha., I think my mother will relate.
But isn’t it just more simple when you open some drawer you exactly know where you will find your needed things.

When I read the words abnormal neat freak, the character ‘Danny Tanner’ from the TV show Full House is what crossed my mind.😊 I love that show! I’d love to know if you are familiar with it😊 Btw, happy cleaning😊

Thank you, yes I am familiar with the show and the character, but I must also say I never followed it as much as i did Friends.
Thank you though, I did manage to sort things out to normalcy yesterday 🙂

Ha, while usually we are so similar, today this is not the case!! Nobody ever accused me of being a neat freak for sure! I know where my stuff is and it’s organized to me, but noone else would think so 🙂 !! I clean only as I know I must and for the obvious reasons but I despise doing cleaning chores!! I always have to give myself a bit of a pep talk to begin the cleaning process as I would prefer to be out enjoying myself or darn near anything else, short of a trip to the dentist! I mean I always like and enjoy the results but still, I HATE doing it! Hope you are off to have a wonderful weekend!!!

So we do have something different 😀
But honestly, I just like being organised, like i need my books in the same drawers, laptop in it’s place, clothes not hanging around uselessly. And nobody likes it this way, i guess to find things where they were kept. (easily) and that is what makes me abnormal among them.
But I did manage to clean that mess yesterday and so I have a sorted weekend now!
Hope you are feeling better now. 🙂
