Rest-less Mind

After a long an tiring day, I go to bed with thoughts as usual in my mind. I don’t know about you but it happens with me almost every day, in bed there are various thoughts as my company. They may vary from fantasies, dreams, events, to any kind of conversation that may or may not have even happened.

So yesterday, I went to sleep with such unpredictable thoughts, and to my alarm I woke up with the same thoughts too.

Half in sleep, half awake, I wondered if I was still dreaming, but I was awake now and was flummoxed with my mind racing. How was it even possible to have come to life with the same thoughts from the last night?

Was my mind never at rest?

  1. strange indeed🙂, I don’t even think before falling asleep because the moment I close my eyes i’m gone. Sometimes I want to think about the day when I’m bed but then I have to do it with my eyes open, otherwise there’s no chance to do it 😂

  2. You are right Moushmi,

your mind never rest. Your subconscious never sleeps. You have about 60.000 thoughts in one day, and the most of them you can not control. Most of them are the same like yesterday.

  4. Well I believe that is where we need to actually check the status of our minds and get things unveiled.
Maybe there is something clotting your silence. We all have been there and meditation may help, indeed!
Hope you have much sorted sleep in future.:)

  5. Be patience. And peace of mind is there with the Rememberance of The One who created you and the whole universe, ie, The Almighty. Seek pleasure in nature and talk to God from your health directly bam, He is all hearing and Most powerful does not Need any intercession.
Serve poor, talk with them. Talk with your maid. Talk to your dad of silly things, talk to your mom, make her laugh, of silly and out of the world talks. Talk with your brother, if your married ” thopo” your thoughts on your husband. Bam. I think this might work.
    May God bless you.

  6. Wow this is so lovely and poetic. It’s weird how dreams work. I don’t remember any of my dreams when I wake up, in fact, I don’t even know if I can dream. So most of the time I daydream instead that time moves so quickly. Some great stories are made from wonderful dreams!

      1. Yeah you look like someone who clings to any thoughts and get supremely affected by them!!! You must be finding it vee hard to control these thoughts which consciously and subconsciously keep attacking your mind!!

Your perception holds importance for me.
