न जाने क्यों,
मुझे उस ढलती शाम के
अधूरे चाँद से अलग ही प्यार है.
*
Somehow,
I brace a different kind of love for that half moon,
advancing the evening.
PS:I know I could have never come up with an English translation, sounding almost the same as the Hindi version; still worth a try may be?

Indeed, the beauty of words remains locked in the language it is originally penned in.

Me that morrow evening
There is only love from the unfinished moon.”

Thanks Buddy, but I am pretty sure no one who understand the language is going to like the Google translation . 😀

Wah!! Stunning pic!! And mesmerising lines! I loved the hindi lines and skipped the english one as that would have diluted the taste! See you write so well in hindi too!! Should more!!

Thanks, I know you are being too generous with your appreciation here.
I do write in Hindi, not so much, but every once in a while, and it remains hidden in a journal, or a hidden folder on my screen. Only recently have I posted a couple or two posts here.

No i mean it when i say it! I like it a lot….i think i should steal that hidden journal now 😈 if dont want that to happen then post more 😅

Hahaha my friend, no one, I repeat no one has ever been able to even look at that journal, let alone steal a few glance of that page. You stand the thinnest chance of stealing it :-p

He is spending a lot of time with you now 🥺

Oh how novice of you, yo really think anyone specially mr. Coffee hater can be freed from my spell!! Woe, do you even know me 😀 :-p

Haha…i know some tricks to distract you from afar… like a nice cup of coffee, a big chocolate, some dance music and a book! And then i will break the spell and free mr coffee hater 😈
