Self Obsession!

I love myself. Hell yeah, I do! I mean come on, I am awesome ๐Ÿ˜€

Okay, enough with the self obsession.

I say this today because I love one thing about me. Whenever I read something good, a word, a sentence, a quote, a paragraph, I write it down and keep it with myself. At first, I used to keep a small memo pad or a pocket diary full of such amazing, jaw dropping quotes. (It doesn’t mean you like these quotes too. It is only, my taste that we are talking about here) But over the time I have stopped keeping that diary and instead I just write it down. So by now I have such wonderful lines written everywhere, on post it’s, on the back of a journal, on a single torn paper, on my phone, as a memo, as a draft message, and pretty much everywhere. What is wrong with this method is the fact that I cannot ever compile them at a single place now. But on the other hand, I get these as a surprise sometimes when I am least expecting them. For instance, today, I was rummaging through an old book, where I found a folded sheet of paper on which there was a very beautiful line. I am not even going to try translating it from Hindi, for the effort is going to be extremely hilarious. But I attach the sheet below, if by chance you like it.

I am pretty sure, this was not from a book, but may be a historical TV series, I just cannot place it. But isn’t it pretty? And ever since I have found this, I am simply smiling, smiling like an ignorant fool.

And even if it is not, I like it all the same. I love it, in fact. Remember, it’s all about self love now? So I love this, I love the way I keep writing these beautiful lines everywhere. and yes, I love myself!! Kyuki mai apni favourite hoon!! ๐Ÿ˜€

  1. That’s something really sweet to do๐Ÿ’• I don’t like how I write poems anywhere I like. Many people tell me to write poems on a diary or a notebook but I am too lazy for that kinda organized shit. And at the same time I want my stuff to be organised. The little quote is beautiful ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ’ฏ

  2. Haha – you are cute in all respect – and isn’t life all about surprises otherwise we will live such a dull and boring life – the words you wrote in the past and stirring the same emotions you may have experienced in the distant past. And the Hindi quote was awesome – keep staying beautiful, aberrant and awesome โค๏ธ

  3. So, if I say this is not self-obsession but self-love, will you buy that? If yes, then I want to congratulate this is the best thing an individual can do.
In all aspect, I share this habit of yours, but in my mobile journal, a wonderful way to preserve all good.
I really find that cute & yes, along with yourself you are undoubtedly mine fav too!!! โค

    1. Thanks so much for this cute comment.
But the next time someone gives me the title of Mr. India, I will, without fail, introduce them to you. No one can prove the exact meaning of the word, except you ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. That quote was awesome! Itโ€™s good habit to write down things one likes and it does surprises one day when stumbled upon suddenly!! The problem with organising exists even in case of mobile journals or any electronic medium too…atleast for me as i have lots of notes on my laptop, phone , mails, google docs, and what not…so instead of worrying about sorting better to immerse oneself with such beautiful quotes all alone!!
And also great you love yourself!! Warna doosron se ummeed rakhne main naummeedi hi hoti hai ๐Ÿ˜€ … i wish i could too!!
