She is also scribbling an unplanned rough draft of a story as a part of NANOWRIMO 2020 and hopes that something might come out of it. She has also co-authored two books, The Lockdown Stories and Mirage so far. Her poetries can be found on her blog https://aestheticmiradh.com/ and a few other online portals. She believes in the fact that a better reader makes a better writer. Reading a 100 books a year is her latest obsession. She can be found either drunk on coffee or hiding away from everything and admiring the gorgeous sun.

Unfortunately, these ‘ism’s’ rarely work. I think that John Lennon had said it best:
Ev’rybody’s talking about
Bagism, Shagism, Dragism, Madism, Ragism, Tagism
This-ism, that-ism, is-m, is-m, is-m
All we are saying is give peace a chance
All we are saying is give peace a chance
That’s what it all comes down to. Peace and love. Great post, Moushmi. Fairness and equality for all.
I am sorry, I try but I fail miserably on taking humor in such cases. I see it this way- when it comes to class differences, as far as I see, these days the “general” people have more problem than ever in grabbing a seat in a decent college or in bagging a job. Giving the people reservations we have, in my opinion, sidetracked the other factors that need to be considered. I don’t know how much sense this makes.
On the other hand, when it comes to feminism, I agree, it is working, to an extent. However, there is a whole lot of progress to be made in that field. When I say whole lot of progress, I mean in 100 different relations which I cannot even begin to put into words here. The bigger cities have overcome so much in this regard too but even there we are living in a different age for women. And don’t even let me begin on smaller cities and villages. The situation and things that women go through there- well its unspeakable let alone, doable. Yet, it all happens.
Sorry to have rambled so much!
On a lighter note, if men are not paying for coffee and foof, then are women paying? Or is it like you pay for yourself, I for myself? Hahaha, need to get into the game to know this one now! Lol..
I agree with both parts of your rambling, and yes these issues are not to be taken lightly, agree there too. But I have not learnt the art of keeping mum when it is warranted and I end up paying for the indiscretion, especially on dates.
fantastic…nice share

It’s always in constant. The ideology varies with time, however, none ought to dominate the other.
Nice thought.

Neither have I learnt to stay mum! I promise myself after every fiasco, but I just fail to remember that I need to keep shut!!
