Why We Need Feminism in 2021 #27

Resignation of an Angel

“There is nothing more rare, nor more beautiful, than a woman being unapologetically herself; comfortable in her perfect imperfection. To me, that is the true essence of beauty.” -Steve Maraboli

BOOK BLURB: She is meek, she is mild, she is water, she is fire. She is who she is. Myriad colours embracing her, a sense of delight, a loss at failure, an emblem of courage, a shield of love. Resignation of an Angel is a poetry collection capturing every phase, every shade of a woman. It is but a small canvas with as many artists & colours as possible & just as many imperfections & abstract wings to fly. A dream, a desire.

Since I cannot share the video directly here, I am attaching the instagram link where I have shared a small book trailer:

Now coming to today’s reason for why we need feminism-

Day 27: We need feminism because we need more of self-worth, self-worth learnt, self-worth taught. Why is it that we compare with everyone so much, why do we not give ourselves some love, why do we not be kind, to others and to ourselves? Why is it that in the track of self-worth/love, we don’t think about others and hurt them in account of ‘self-love’? We need feminism because we need a balance.
