A Supplementary Question Paper!

When life is already disarraying, my fate really plays good with me, it adds on to the miseries and dilemma. As if, I already wasn’t dealing with enough questions, I have a supplementary sheet to answer, which accordingly is not optional!!

I wouldn’t say the questions are really difficult, they are simple questions, pertaining to the syllabus; life!! And yet here I am struggling to merely swim above the level, simply trying to breathe.

I wouldn’t say these are really miseries, and if I were to mention them as agonies, they are the sweet ones. The only trouble is I don’t know how to deal with them. The lack of experience, knowledge, you could say anything pertaining to the curriculum, which leads me to jitter at the possible thought of simply sitting with the question paper.

So, what do I do?

My heart has a very simple answer!

But the practical me always wins!! It has reasons and explanation, a supplementary brief study for almost every Multiple Choice Questions too! It has a basic tendency to analyse and criticise, take future and past into hand.

Again, I ask, what do I do?

I am pretty sure, this is going to sound more of a rambling post, rather than a scream for help.

So, I really don’t know what to do. As I already mentioned, the questions aren’t demanding, only, the answers are a little more convoluted.

That one thing.

Ever felt the importance of something- which is clearly not as important anyway! Still you feel like it is the most important thing in our life, the only thing that is going to be good, to be okay for you and you cling onto it so bad. You just can’t let go, not because you don’t want to but simply because you can’t. That one thing that you may have done right; that makes you forget almost all other wrongs. Is it not then that you realise that there is nothing much in your life, except for that one thing? What if even that goes away? Then I might be left with simply nothing!

I thing I am just rambling anyway, I should stop my babble right away.

Have a good day,

Much love.

Keeping Busy

No, I am not busy, I mean I am but not because I am busy, but only because I want to be busy.

Does this even make sense?

I hope so.

PS: In the extent of keeping myself busy to avoid things, i hardly know what am I exactly doing.

Daily Prompt: Treasure

via Daily Prompt: Treasure

You are my heart and soul and you still don’t know that

And perhaps you will never know.

You are the smile on my face, the tears in my eyes

You are my unending appetite.

You are the smell after the rain

The sunshine in the summers,

The snowfall in the winters.

You are the silver, gold and diamonds in my jewellery collection,

You are the memories engraved on my mind.

You are the treasure,

I will cherish my entire life.

A dreamer! — Lame_thoughts

“Let your dreams be alive. Don’t bury them within you” Once in a blue moon, he arrives from nowhere, plays a game, startles the world, make us speechless, creates the history, leaves a legacy and goes nowhere. He just leaves a mark making our heart shiver and boiling every drop of blood in the body. […]

The Red Balloon

I was at a carnival, it was more of an ‘Indian mela’ where there are rides for the children and some stalls for you to buy stuff and counters to satisfy your always hungry stomach. I was sauntering around when a young kid passed by and I couldn’t help track him down. My eyes were glued to him and his actions.

He was a small child wearing carefree tracks and a red t-shirt enhancing his cutest smile. He held tightly to a red air balloon and was hopping along with his parents. I smiled at him even though I was not sure if he would return the smile. Indeed he did and the moment he smiled at me with his open heart he lost the balloon; he just left the string.

And there we were both of us staring at the red balloon flying high in the air. I thought he would cry but he didn’t, instead he kept smiling and giggling and he moved on. He went away with his parents and I was there standing still and wondering how could he let go a thing he loved so much.

I do not know why I stood there? I cannot tell why but I just couldn’t let go of the sight. The balloon was not even mine. How was it so easy for him to let go off and so difficult for me? I do not know what I wanted, the balloon? Or to let go of something or even the authority to fly freely into the air without any restrictions just like the red balloon? I simply don’t know.

I do not know and yet I stood there staring at the red balloon flying high in the sky, smiling until someone came and pulled me along to go eat some ice cream.
